As a passionate and lifelong animal lover, she held a particularly special place in her heart for cats, finding endless joy, comfort, and quiet companionship in their presence over the years. Her innate desire to care for others extended far into her community through her dedicated volunteer work with Project Linus. Mary freely gave of her time and artistic talents to craft beautiful quilts and sew clothing for hospitalized children, providing a sense of warmth and comfort to countless families she would never personally meet.
Mary's enduring legacy of love and service is carried forward by her three children: Shannon Mathis, Brendon Watts, and Jordan Watts, who were the pride and joy of her life.
She will be long remembered for her unwavering kindness, her boundless spirit of generosity, and the steady, gentle affection she offered unconditionally to everyone around her—both human and animal alike.
