Obituary

Matsue Nishioka Koscal passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home in Fort Worth, with her loving children and grandchildren at her bedside. Matsue was born in Taipei, Taiwan on August 25, 1929, to Yoneko Nishioka and Mazushi Matsuzaki, and the family moved to Japan when she was a toddler. After her husband's retirement, they moved back to Fort Worth.

Matsue was active in the Fort Worth Japanese Society and served many years as a board member. She was active in the Kurumi Ningyo group and worked on various handicrafts. For the past 30 years, she traveled to Japan on a yearly basis to visit family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her husband, and her mother.
