Melba Grace Byrd, 61 years, of Joshua, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020. Service: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole 4350 River Oaks Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76114. She was born on Wednesday August 5, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas. Melba was hard working person who always saw the good in everyone. She was an artist at heart. Melba loved painting rocks to put a smile on everyone's face. She loved having a good time with her family. She is preceded in death by her brother, Garth Mattison Griggs, Jr.; grandparents, Melba and Ansil Day; great-grandmother, Verna Stephens; and great aunt, Fonda Gonzales. Survivors: Son, Freddie and Stephanie Tebo; father, Garth Madison Griggs, Sr. and wife Joy; mother, Verna La Gail Day; grandchildren, Emily Tebo, Freddie Tebo III, Paris Finch and Justin Finch; sister, Sonya Barry; brother, Wally Lovell.
