Melvin Ray Tribble, 74, of Grandview, Texas passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Grandview Cemetery, 8501 FM Hwy 4, Grandview, TX 76050. Melvin was born on Friday, October 12, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to Nile and Ophelia Tribble. He enlisted in the Army on 18 November 1965. Melvin was honorably discharged on the 5th of December 1967. After coming home he joined Army National Guard of Texas in which he was Honorably discharged o the 28th of January 1978. While serving his country Ray received the Armys commendation metal as well as the Bronze Star. He was Air Rifle expert and Vietnam Vet. His rank was Private First Class in the 112th Armor division.
