Nestor was born on September 15, 1968 in New York to Nestor M Reyes Sr. and Nellie Zapata. He was a martial arts instructor for over thirty years. Survivors: Mother, Nellie Zapata and father, Nestor M Reyes Sr.; brothers, Edward Reyes, and Axel Reyes and sister in law Jennifer; children, Christian Reyes, Angel Reyes, and Shekinah Reyes; and grandmothers, Esther Ortiz and Rosa E. Santiago.
