Raymond Floyd Laster was born December 30, 1933, in Hartman, Arkansas, to Opal & Mamie Laster. He had two brothers, of which he was the middle brother. Clyde was his older brother and Ronnie was his younger brother, all who have preceded him in death.

My Dad was 92 years old, and he and Mom were married 68 years. That is quite an accomplishment. They both commented that they have lived a good long life, and enjoyed life. They retired early, and after retirement Jeff teased them that they packed up their RV and he didn’t see them for 20 years. That of course is not completely true, but they did travel and enjoy their retirement and he is happy they got to spend this time together.

They have recently been going through old pictures of places they traveled, events they attended, and the many friends they have made over the years. And as you know, Raymond never met a stranger. He could walk into a room and not know a soul, and when he left, he would know everyone there. So Jeff comes by it naturally. My dad loved people, and he loved being with people. And on his, and Mom's behalf, thank you for all your love, prayers, and support for Raymond.
