Obituary

Rhonda Rene Barrientes, age 62, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. Born on March 4, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, Rhonda spent her life surrounded by the family, friends, and community she loved so dearly.

Rhonda was born to Gloria Barrientes Davis. She was later lovingly adopted by her father, Benny D. Davis, who came into her life when she was six years old and became the best father anyone could ask for. Rhonda was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, niece, dog mom, and cherished friend. Known for her beautiful spirit, contagious smile, and generous heart, she had a special way of making everyone around her feel loved and cared for.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benny D. Davis; her grandparents, Joe and Esther Barrientes & Earl and Callie Davis; and her beloved canine companions, Maks and Lola.

Rhonda is survived by her mother, Gloria B. Davis; sisters, Amy Davis Rose (Bart) and Sarah Davis; beloved nieces and nephew, Callie Patricia, Blair Bennett Rose, and Marshall Dean; and her precious pup, Lucy. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Rhonda coveted time spent with the people she loved, creating memories that will be held close forever. Her compassionate heart, gentle strength, unwavering love, and willingness to always put others first were hallmarks of her life. Her faith sustained her, and her legacy of love will continue through all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service celebrating Rhonda's life will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. All who knew and loved Rhonda are invited to join her family in honoring her life.
