Richard Harold Hollerman went to be with his Lord on August 19, 2026, with his loving wife at his side. Richard was born in Ellwood City, the son of Harold A. Hollerman and Ruth Crawford Hollerman.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, Pa., and went on to pursue higher education with a heart dedicated to learning Truth in the Word of God, attending multiple colleges such as Abilene, Geneva College in Pennsylvania, Harding University in Arkansas, Lubbock Christian College in Texas (where he graduated), and finishing his education at The Southern Baptist Seminary in Texas.

A Walk of Perseverance and Devotion

Richard’s primary purpose in life was to serve the Lord with all his heart, demonstrating an unyielding loyalty that welcomed any sacrifice for his Master. He walked through life with remarkable perseverance, letting nothing dim the light of Christ within him.

Travels: Through his extensive travels and visits across almost all the states in the country, Richard continually sought to do God's will. He also went as a missionary to Africa.

Proclaiming the Truth: He was a dedicated self-published author of Christian materials in print and online at www.truediscipleship,com, publishing the newspaper "True Discipleship" for many years, hosting a Christian radio program for several seasons, and writing hundreds of Christian tracts on every available biblical topic.

• Family and Legacy

Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Monica Castro Hollerman, whom he married on July 8, 2006; his sister, Doris Burkett of Ellwood City, Pa.; and his brother, Donald Hollerman (Margaret) of Ellwood City, Pa. He also leaves behind five nieces and nephews, six great-nieces and great-nephews, and countless followers and friends whose lives were forever changed by his ministry.

As the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Richard has now stepped into the eternal reward prepared for him, leaving behind a fragrant testimony of love and devotion that will echo for generations.
