Robert Couisnard, 65, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017. Gathering of Family and Friends: 2 pm – 4 pm Saturday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth. Robert was born on October 26, 1951 in Gary, Indiana to Robert and Prince Ella Couisnard. He was a 1969 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Gary, IN and attended Lincoln University. Robert served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After Vietnam he formed and was the leader of the Krash Band where he played Alto Sax. He loved to build model planes, cars and ships and drink coffee. Survivors: Wife, Alisha J Archie-Couisnard; daughters, Morgan Wright and husband Danzel, and Aja Couisnard; sons, Robert "Trey" Couisnard and wife Tiffany, and Karl Sutherland; eight grandchildren; mother, Prince Ella Couisnard; brothers and sisters, Cheryl Walker, Denise McLaurin and husband Michael, Charmine Cephus, Prince P Couisnard and wife Sheila, and Marcus Johnson and wife Cledra; brother-in-law, Anthony Archie and wife Kym; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
