Robert "Bob" Steele, 92, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016. Service: 11 a.m. Friday, White's Chapel United Methodist Church, 185 S. White Chapel Rd., Southlake. Visitation: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, Founders Chapel, White's Chapel Methodist Church. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Bob was born on August 3, 1923 in St. Louis, MO to Oliver and Gertrude Steele. He was a founder and first Fire Chief of the Southlake Fire Department. Bob was a huge Southlake Carrol Fan. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Crystal Mae Steele, a son, Don Steele, and a grandson, Robert Steele. Survivors: Sons, Dan Steele and his wife Milinda, and Randy Steele and his wife Paige; granddaughters, Tracy Marr, Tara Horton, Crystal Lippert, Shawn Tuberville, Amber King, and Jennifer Babb; and extended family and friends.
