Ronald "Ronnie" Ross Jones, age 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at a local hospital.

Ronnie was born September 14, 1962 in Fort Worth, TX to Gene and Carol Jones. He graduated from Aledo High School in 1981. Ronnie had been in business for himself for 28 years at Jones Auto Body in Aledo, TX.

He was married to his wife, Darla Durant Jones, for 24 years. His son, Dylan Jones, was born in 2001. Dylan was Ronnie's pride and joy and they spent countless hours together working on cars both for business and pleasure. Ronnie taught Dylan everything he knew about the body shop business so that he will be able to continue the family business at Dylan Jones Auto Body. Ronnie's love of cars started as a child building model cars, and over the years he restored many Corvettes and hot rods. Ronnie loved his family, friends and customers and was loved by many in return. He will be greatly missed but will live in our hearts forever. Ronnie has joined his mother, Carol Jones, in heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Darla Jones; son, Dylan Jones; father, Gene Jones; brother, Randy (and Ann Marie) Jones; sisters, Jennifer (and Tristan) Tayag, Catherine (and Wil) Lampka, Jessica Jones, Erin (and Nathan) Tatum; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family, friends and others whose lives Ronnie touched are invited to St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Weatherford, TX on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 11:00 for a Mass of Christian Burial.
