Ruth Marie Gibbons, 66, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017. Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2017 at Gambrell Street Baptist Church, 1616 West Gambrell Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76115. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Ruth was born on September 21, 1950 in Fort Worth to Dan and Marie Vestal. She was a graduate of Paschal High School, she also attended the Dallas Fashion Merchandising School. Ruth was longtime member of Grambell St Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafts. Survivors: Son, Chris Gibbons and his wife Jamie; sister, Marth Asebedo and her husband Louis; brothers, Daniel Vestal and his wife Earlene, and James Vetal and his wife Cindy; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
