Samir Bastawros, 72, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014. Visitation: 9 am - 11 am Friday, Cross Timbers Winery, 805 N Main St, Grapevine. Service: 1 pm Friday, St Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, 1110 John McCain Rd, Colleyville. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Sam was born on March 19, 1941 in Egypt. He was Chemical Engineer and worked in the Oil & Gas and Water/Wastewater industries all over the world. Sam was known for his larger than life personality and big heart. Also, he was passionate for traveling the globe with his loving wife. Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Viera Bastawros; sons, David Bastawros and wife Susan, and Peter Bastawros; grandchildren, Matthew and Allison Bastawros; five brothers and three sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
