Sara "Sally" Maria Mullins Poehler was born in Dallas, Texas on January 5, 1935 to parents Edward Talty and Mary Francis Meinert. She lost her fight to breast cancer June 19, 2017 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 82. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who took pride in all her children's accomplishments and in their everyday lives. She and her husband were formally trained ballroom dancers, instructors, and choreographers for many years. Sara and Mike loved to travel the world; she especially loved visiting Las Vegas. She is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Michael Poehler Sr.: her two sons, Joseph Poehler and Michael Poehler Jr.; her two daughters, Rebecca Crawford and Judith Donnell: 9 grandchildren and 11 great grand children. A memorial service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Ln, Keller, TX 76248 on Saturday, July 1st at 11:30 a.m. Rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
