Sarita Garza Anderson passed peacefully on October 4th, 2023.

Sarita was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and wife. She spent many years teaching in the Fort Worth Ind. School District. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. Services will be announced at a later date.

She is Survived by her sister, Lydia Aguilar; brothers, Santiago Garza and Guillermo Garza (Frances); sister-in-law, Nelda McGlinchey; sons, Romeo Escobedo (Norma), Shawn Anderson; daughters, Sarita (Sally)Muñoz, Sylvia Gonzales (Thomas), Samantha Escobedo Anderson; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Anderson; parents, Santiago Cuellar Garza and Sara Garza Garza; daughter, Lydia Tupica; and brothers, Pomposo and Antonio Garza.
