Scott (Scotty) Eugene Henderson was born on January 17, 1968, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Marcus and Marilyn Henderson. Scotty passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.

Scotty grew up in Channelview, Texas, but lived most of his adult life in Kilgore, Texas. Scotty worked for Durham Chevrolet in Kilgore, Texas for many years. He was respected by his coworkers and friends as he took pride in all he did in life and at work. Scotty loved hard, he was a "give the shirt off his own back" kind of guy and never missed an opportunity to crack a joke. He loved all animals and spent a few of his later years working in various Veterinarian offices.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Debra Caver of New Braunfels, Texas and Sheila Haines of Weatherford, Texas. His Nieces, Amber Johnson of Tomball, Texas and Jessica Thomas of Weatherford, Texas. His Nephew, Bradley Varnado of Missouri City, Texas and his Step-Mother, Ruby Henderson of Humble, Texas.

Scotty's ashes will be buried in the plot next to his Mother in Kilgore City Cemetery where there will be a Celebration of His Life on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
