Shannon Leigh James, 43, died peacefully at home May 18, 2017. Service: 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at Edgepark United Methodist Church, 5501 Alliance Gateway Fwy., Fort Worth, TX 76177. Shannon was born March 26, 1974 in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Arlington Heights High School. She loved the ocean, her dog, and life but most of all she loved her family. Shannon was a sweet loving girl. She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie James. Survivors: Mother, Beverly Simmons; brother, Eddie James; 4 aunts; 1 uncle; and numerous cousins.
