Sheloah Lynn Dorries, 63, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Service: 1PM on January 6, 2020 Monday, True Life Church, 301 S Main St, Joshua, where the family will be present to receive friends from 11 am – 1 pm. Graveside at 2PM on January 7, 2020 Heritage Rowe Memorial Park, 1352 Belview Rd, Leesville LA 71446. Shel was born on December 14, 1956 in Pineville, LA. She was a loving and devote mother and grandmother and lived for her grandchildren. Shel was a great Arts and Crafts person creating figurines and painting. She will always be remembered for her ability to see, hear and enjoy the beauty around her no one else could see. The world has definitely lost a ray of light and heaven has made a tremendous gain. She was also a active member of True Life Church. Survivors: Daughter, Misty Janke and husband Matthew; son, Coy Dorries; grandchildren, Kirstie Dorries, Ein Dorries, Katelyn Janke, and Aaron Janke; sister, Sherry McConnaughey and husband Mike; brother, Doug Elliott; nephews and nieces, Marcus, Joseph and Charles Geuin, and Kenny, Denna and Sarah Elliott; and a host of extended family and friends.
