Sherry Ruth Mindieta, 60, of Fort Worth, passed away on September 6, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Chapel, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, Texas.

Sherry was born on October 26, 1964, in Lubbock, Texas, to George Glazener and Janette Crosby. She was a loving and creative woman who enjoyed crafting and found joy in cooking for family and friends. Sherry was the one people turned to for support, comfort, and encouragement, and she always gave of herself wholeheartedly.

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, John Mindieta, her mother Jannette Crosby, and her father George Glazener.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Mindieta and husband Joseph Marquez, and Elizabeth Mindieta; her sister, Deborah Woodley; her brothers, George Glazener and Sam Glazener; and her five cherished grandchildren, Juliana, Jaden, and Jeremiah Marquez and Dax and Emberly Goins.

Sherry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
