Steve Gentry, 62, passed away June 27, 2016 in Lubbock. Service: Thursday, June 30, 4:00 p.m., Cross Timbers Winery, 805 N. Main St., Grapevine, TX. Interment: Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, Hamlin, Texas. Steve enjoyed carpentry, watching movies, and being outdoors. He loved to go fishing, camping, and hiking. An avid history buff, he especially enjoyed military and American history. He was a Nascar fan. He also enjoyed collecting antiques, especially antique model cars and tools. He had a special interest in classic cars. Survivors: wife, Marie Gentry; children, Brian Gentry and Chris Gentry; sister, Melva Stanfield and husband Mark.
