Obituary

Tamera Spalding Austin, 61, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021. Memorial Service: 2 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Western Hills United Methodist Church, 2820 Laredo Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76116. Please join us in celebrating the life of Tamera in her homegoing service. Tamera was born in Sita, Alaska, June 3, 1960. She was adopted the same year by Duane and Barbara Spalding from Texas. She grew up in Texas, and moved to New Mexico in 1985. In 1998 she moved back to Texas. Tamera was a kind, patient, loving, strong and most of all, a God-fearing woman. Her second home Church was where she enjoyed catching up with friends and worshiping God. She loved her Church and church family. She held her grandchildren near and dear to her heart. There was not one person she encountered that she did not love. She would make Facebook prayer posts all the time. Fellow friends and family would look forward to them. Tamera was a fighter, she never gave up on anything or anyone, and even in her untimely death, she will not start now. She is preceded in death by her parents, Duane Spalding and Barbara Spalding; and brother, Duane Spalding Jr. Tamera leaves to cherish her memories: Children, Cristal and husband Gaudencio Pedraza, Matthew Williams, Dale and wife Deisy Austin, Timothy and wife Darian Austin; brother, Dru Spalding; grandchildren, Christopher Gonzalez, Israel Pedraza, Hailey Grace Williams, Seth Williams, Delilah Austin, Aulani Austin, Timothy Noah Austin, Rosalee Austin, and Lily Austin; and other relatives and dear friends. The family asks if you have pictures of, and or with Tamera, that they are brought to service. Fellowship and food proceeding service.
