Teresa Wood, 71, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Paralyzed Veterans or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Teresa was born on May 7, 1948 in Pucallpa, Peru, and spent most of her school years in Lima, Peru. She came to the United States as a foreign exchange student in Colby, Wisconsin. After high school Teresa became a bilingual secretary in Lima for Park Davis Pharmaceuticals. Teresa traveled a lot and relocated to Texas in 1979. She married Randy in 1983. Teresa loved gardening and baking and her dogs and pets. Survivors: Husband, Randy Wood; mother, Socorro Salazar Cruz; five sisters, two brothers, and a host of extended family and friends.
