Terry Lynn Tisby, 66, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Terry was born on July 17, 1958, In Fort Worth, TX to the parentage of Isaac Tisby and Annie Young Tisby. He attended Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth I.S.D. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age while being a member of Greater Worth Hill Baptist Church. Terry was a cook and car detailer by trade.

Terry was the life of the party whether it was babysitting someone's kids, being a caregiver, detailing someone's cars for a little change, or just trying to cook or barbecue him something to eat before bed.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents Isaac Tisby and Annie Young Tisby Sumlin, Stepfather Henry Sumlin Sr, two brothers Gerald Wade Young, and Isaac Dewayne Tisby.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter Tannetra Thomas, a son Tirrell Sneed, one sister and caregiver Linda Stafford, one stepbrother Henry Sumlin Jr, 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and a host of Friends, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and longtime best friend Lee Arthur Locklin.

Memorial Service: 7:00 p.m Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76133.
