W C Tillery, 91, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Due to the current Covid situation, a private family service will take place. Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to the Endowment Fund at First United Methodist Church in Grapevine. W C was born on January 15, 1929 in Grapevine to Cora and Tim Tillery. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. W C was a lifelong resident of Grapevine where he graduated from Grapevine High School, was a 32 degree Mason with Masonic Lodge 288 and a Past Worshipful Master, where he was a member for over 70 years. He was also a 70 plus member of First United Methodist Church in Grapevine. W C loved gardening, traveling and watching sports. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. W C was preceded in death by his wife Joan Tillery and his great-grandson, Holton Spradley. Survivors: Daughters, Darlene Florence and husband David, Lynette Stowe, and Nancy Dudley and husband Al; grandchildren, Jake Large, Kathy Spradley and husband Shawn, Matt Florence, Brandi Large, and Stephanie Dudley; great grandchildren, Regan, Connor and Logan Large, Hudson and Nash Spradley; and sister, Betty Jean Loges and husband Wayne.
