Waldo passed away on February 12, 2019 at his home. He Leaves his precious memory to his family and friends. Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Frebruary 22, 2019, Samaria Baptist Church, 4000 E Berry St, Fort Worth, TX 76105. Interment: 1 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019, Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211. Waldo Brightmon was born to the parentage of Clinton and Emma Roach-Brightmon, September 26, 1930, in Marshall, Texas. He attended and graduated from the Marshall I.S.D. After graduating from High School, he served in the U.S. Army. Following his discharge from the Army, he began a career as a truck driver. He entered into Holy Matrimony with the love of his life, Lenora Gilmore, on May 17, 1957, and they shared a life of love for 47 years until they were separated by the death of Lenora in 2005. Waldo was also preceded in death by his parents.
