Walter Franklin
White
Jul 29, 1974 — Aug 28, 2026
Weatherford
Walter Franklin “Wally” White passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 52.
Wally was born on July 29, 1974, in Bend, Oregon. During his childhood, he lived in Port Wentworth, Georgia; Mexia, Texas; Midland, Texas; and Weatherford, Texas, where he graduated from high school in 1992. He later became a licensed respiratory therapist, a career that reflected his natural desire to help and care for others. While he loved his job, Wally's passion was preaching and sharing the gospel with many congregations and friends.
In May 2016, Wally married his wife, Michelle, and, as those who knew him might say, things around Wally were rarely dull after that. He was known for his honesty, quick sense of humor, helping spirit, and joyful personality.
Wally had a way of making people laugh while also being someone others could count on when they needed a helping hand.
Wally was preceded in death by his niece, Marti Parrish; nephew, Kelby Kiker; and father-in-law, Bert Evans, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle White; daughter, Lexy Evans-White; stepson, Evan Cornett, grandson Axel Cornett; parents, Ray and Myrna White; sister, LeAnne Kiker; brothers, Andy White and Joe White; nieces, Kaitlynn Baker and Cassie Evans; nephew, Evan White; mother-in-law, Linda Evans; and brother-in-law, Bert Evans, III.
Wally is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters in Christ, and countless friends whose lives were made brighter through his friendship, humor, faith, and generous spirit.
