Wanda Kay Courtney, 77, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Gathering of Family & Friends: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2020 at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. Wanda married Charles Franklin Courtney on January 29, 1971 who passed away on March 6, 2020. She was a homebody who enjoyed spending time with her family and her special dog, Angel. Wanda loved to dance and won many contests over the years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; and one sister. Survivors: Son, Gaylen Courtney and wife Peggy, Van Earl Ellis; twin-sister, Linda Ellis; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
