History
In 1976, Martin Thompson commenced his full-time career in funeral service under the guidance of his father, Guy Thompson, at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. His father believed in gaining experience in every role within the funeral home, and Martin began by working the night shift for four years while pursuing his degree at Texas Wesleyan University.
In 1998, Martin established the Martin Thompson Funeral Home in Grapevine, subsequently expanding to Keller and Mansfield, Texas. Throughout his life, Martin has been an avid student of funeral service, observing the evolving trends and changing needs of families over the years.
Today, families seek outstanding service at an affordable price, prompting Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home to offer an alternative to traditional funeral homes. Our range of services includes traditional funeral services, a variety of cremation services, and green funeral services, catering to those seeking environmentally conscious options.
